My friend Danielle was right in the middle of this situation ,because she was there interviewing artists for our gallery in Los Angeles!

the artist’s that were beaten and slashed by the developer’s thugs handed her a CD and begged her to get it to the media. Everything they tried to post on the web was taken off as fast as it was posted by big brother china. It is a really sad world we live in when once again the power destruction is stronger than the powers of creation.

I ask you this. What real intelligence, grace or creativity does it take to destroy something. Any brute, or quadrupeds can smash and tear. To create though is a one of the human races rare positive attributes. Destroy the creators, destroy the definitive parts of humanity.

I came back from China last night, brought back more videos and photos shot by a significant artist from China. I don’t want to reveal the name of the artist, so that this person won’t get in more trouble with police. If you know any channels to distribute, it’d be very helpful. All the posts by Chinese artists have been taken down or deleted in China. By the way, I want to make it clear that it is not Ai Weiwei, as he wants to make it known that it was not him who organized the resistant team of artists.

Ok folks,

I’m going to preface this email with a disclosure. Lol!

The purpose of this rant is not to bash those of you of faith, but only to give you a perspective that you may not have considered.

Being a responsible tax paying American. Tonight as I worked away in my studio I listened to The President’s state of the union address.

I like our President, and I feel like he was handed a huge pile of crap to sort out and logically something that took 8 years in some cases and decades in others is not going to be fixed in a year.
He is a politician though and has to sensationalize and band wagon and do his best to connect with or convince as many people as possible on his policies.

What really urks me though is not any of the usual political rederick but this.
At the end of his speech he said,
“God Bless”.

Then I listened to the Republicans’ version/ opinion on what’s happening with the country and all of their bull shit and rederick. And at the end of that speech the senator said what?
God bless.

I’m sorry.
But If I wanted to be blessed I would go to church.
What ever happen to the idea of church and state being separate?
Believe it or not those simple words exclude millions of people.
Because we all know what “God “, they are talking about.
The same God that would still be burning innocent people as witches,
destroying cultures, and yes killing homosexuals if there was not protection from a Government.

Furthermore, If i were Christian I would be offended that a politician felt themselves worthy to pass such blessings in such a non religious forum.
It seem completely transparent to me as little more than a mass manipulation of faith based voters.

I want “God” kept out of my government.
He and his followers pose enough challenges for me in day to day life.
If I were to thank “God for anything it would be this.

Thank :God that I have a government to protect me and the millions of other non conforming non believers from the wrath and ignorance of you’re flock. LOL!
